Het vervolg op de originele miniserie. Aan het einde van de serie stuurde het verzet een signaal de ruimte in met de vraag om hulp. 20 jaar later wordt daar eindelijk gehoor aan gegeven. Maar of het hun redding wordt?
Dit boek zit erg goed in elkaar het mengt een aantal bekende personages met nieuwe personages. Het verhaal doet de serie eer aan. Het is net alsof je midden in het verhaal zit. Veel actie maar ook sociaal commentaar zoals in de originele serie. Dit boek doet wel alsof de tweede miniserie The Final Battle en de tv serie niet gebeurt zijn. Dit vooral omdat schrijver Kenneth Johnson hier niet bij betrokken was omdat dit niet zijn visie was. Het boek voelt als een warm bad vooral voor V fans. Dit boek had ik graag als miniserie gezien, helaas is dit er niet van gekomen. Een top boek.
